Gold Campine  (Rare Breed)

The Campine, pronounced Kam-peen, is a fairly small breed, originating in Belgium and is a classified 'rare breed'. Hens and Cockerels are nearly identical in feather coloration both cock and hen have a rich gold cape with the remainder of the feathers having beetle-green baring on a rich gold background. They are a friendly, attractive and inquisitive breed and love to forage. They are also fast maturing and feather up quickly. They laying approx 150 a eggs a year which are pure white. Pictured below are some of my Campines.
